first day of teaching
my first day of teaching is tomorrow. im surprisingly not nervous or scared right now, but i know that about 30 minutes before the kids are supposed to come i will become so.
my fellow pre-k teachers who have already started are facing some tough stuff: three year olds who are not toilet trained, co-workers who openly despise and resent them, a lack of teaching supplies and so much more. as of now i dont think i am facing any of those, but that all may change in about 12 hours.
other than work, my life is slowly coming together here. our house is still virtually empty of furniture since we are waiting for our landlord to install new carpet in the living room. i have a very comfy bed but no desk and no dresser. i hate not having a car and being forced to mooch off of friend whenever i need to go anywhere. eugh. dad is visiting in about 2 weeks and i plan on doing my darndest to find a good car with his help.
all i can say is god bless surfthechannel.com for providing me with new streaming episodes of battlestar galactica season 4.
