Demoted
Well, I am no longer an Assistant Provost. I am now the Program Manager for General Education: Mathematics and Sciences. That's like two steps down from where I was. It might not look that way on paper, but I know the truth. And honestly, I don't care. I do wish that I had all of General Education under my belt, but I have about 25% of the work that I had before. SO, now I need to allow myself to use my free time wisely. I need to go back to writing, reading, and educating myself again. This is a positive move for me, because the Assistant Provost job was killing me.
