Oct 21, 2009 10:01

- XD wil wheaton on "the big bang theory".. awesome!  (when did he get quite hot?) and sheldon.. just <3

- LOL  how had i not heard of this before?!  "silk and steel" .. i spent the last hour laughing *g*

- i'm not into dancing....i don't know why people are clapping at certain points of a performance, i don't see if it was good or bad..i don't see what's relevant and what is not and i just don't get how you can enjoy it so much :P (sorry, that sounds very ingnorant)
so i can't watch "strictly".  although i really wanted to this season because of craig kelly. solution: i only watch his performances on yt^^  i think he's fantastic and adorable and.. *squee* :D

i think i'll re-watch some qaf(uk) episodes today :)

A-DOR-A-BLE

- right.. i watched this documentary called "age 8 and wanting a sex change".. the tacky title should've been a warning.

first of all: the term "sex change" is a bit inaccurate and offensive...do some research!

plus it REALLY pissed me off that they kept referring to the girls as "he" the whole time!!! (and the other way around for the boys) although they legally had their names changed!  way to be ignorant!!

i also hate they they always talk about "becoming a girl/boy". they already are girls/boys.. just inside a male/female body.....    it's not that hard to get these things right

argh!  things like that make me so mad! you wouldn't do a documentary on black people and call them the n-word, would you?! (yes, thats a bit of a drastic comparison but that's how serious this is/should be seen as..... because it's never right to insult/talk down/etc people  .. even more so when you pretend to be all open minded and do a documentary about it!

it was good to see how supportive the parents were though! very open minded about their children and they talked to them really honestly (about genitals, surgery, etc.)

- i'm watching "do i drink too much" of the bbc horizon series right now. very interesting. one of the guys interviewed

looks like he's from a painting or something XD

and the main narrator isn't too bad himself

- my norwegian course starts tomorrow *excited*
