I tried a ham and swiss Frescata sandwich after I read your review, and I agree that there was too much mayo on it. It was squirting out all over the damn place. The cold cuts and lettuce were good, but the sandwich was too small. I wish there was a bigger size that they offered. Speaking of fast food places selling deli sandwiches, Jack In The Box used to have one which I forget the name of. It was a long, narrow Italian sub. It varied in quality from great to crappy, depending on where you got it. I kind of miss that sandwich.

You know, I found the sandwich small myself, but I find almost every sandwich small, especially if I'm plunking down $6 for a meal that couldn't cost much more than $1.50 including labor.

Jack In The Box now has some new sandwiches on a different kind of bread (the name escapes me), but they are warm sandwiches, a burger and a chicken sandwich, if I remember correctly. Have you had either of those?

If you like these reviews, I'll keep doing them, though it won't be as often given that I don't have the necessity (or the funds now) to do them as I would if I were still driving around all day. I also try to do them only for national or semi-national restaurants (JITB yes, Whataburger no), in case a second person actually finds these any good.
