One Step Towards College Life...
Wow... My first day of college was full of very unexpected surprises... some great.. some not so great lol... Lets see where to begin... i had two classes this morning: Intro to Sociology and The New Testament... great classes!! i know I am going to love <3 my Sociology class.. but the New Testament class is definitely going to be tough.. i mean i'm a Christian and all... but I've never like studies the bible.. ever... and today we took a little quiz to see how much we know.. yeah.. out of 10 questions guess how many i got right??... 2.. and thats only beauce he had already mentioned them!! There are some incredible bible people in there that know it like the back of thier hand though.. lets hope that they won't be offended by what goes on in there!! But yeah... My Sociology teacher.. is effing H O T!! whew...it will make for a most enjoyable experience =)..heh... but in that class i have to do 20 Hours of Community Serice... for a grade!! lol.. that should be fun.... then after those classes I TRIED to catch the bus back to my parking lot... got on the wrong bus.. not once...but twice!! then i still couldn't figure it out!! So finally I was frustrated enough to the point where I said you know I'll just walk back to my car... yeah... baddd idea.... no way... I almost effing died.. seriously.. i walked 3 miles with about 25 pounds on my back..heh... Now that i look backon it.. its funny... but let me tell you that was NOT the enjoyable experience i was looking forward to on my first day... so then i finally make it to my car after sweating off like 20 pounds and i drive down Archer to Panera because now that I was on the bus for and hour and a half I don't have time to go home and do what i needed to do... so i styaed near Campus, ate, then went back to my Final class of the day... da da daaaa.. PRECALC! ahh!!..... But it actually wasn't that bad if you consider 5 pages of notes on the first day not that bad.... but the teacher is a grad student who's never taught the class before.. so it should be interesting.... my hand and arm hurt from writing so much and carrying my bag around... lol... the life of a college student... oh... and did i mention i have homework already?? yeah... in 2 classes.... thank God none in my math class.... but i have a lot of reading to do for Sociology and my New Testament class.... But you know what... it will alll be worth it in the long run.. thats how i look at it... and now for a breakup of how i feel about college so far for you Seniors ou there who would like to know...
+ my first class= 10:40
- I have to park my car on one side of the campus... and ride the bus to the other (only if you are off campus though)
+ You don't have the same exact classes every single day...
- Despite what you might hear... attendance is a VERY important part of your grade.. if you miss... you will fail...
+ Lots of good places to eat on campus and around the campus =)
- My Precalc class is 250 students...
+ Lots and lots of oppotunities to meet and greet =)
- last class @ 4:05...
+ living on your own is greeatt!!

ok so from what i learned today in precalc... the pluses outweigh the minuses... therefore, its definitely a great place to be =)
+ my first class= 10:40
- I have to park my car on one side of the campus... and ride the bus to the other (only if you are off campus though)
+ You don't have the same exact classes every single day...
