On the Audiobook front

The Ballroom on Magnolia Street by Sharon Owens (Hardcover - Jul 7, 2005)

I still like the Teahouse on Mulberry Street better but that's not to say this book wasn't charming as well.

Good to Great CD: Why Some Companies Make the Leap...And Others Don't by Jim Collins and Collins Jim (Audio CD - Jun 1, 2005) - Unabridged

I finally bought a couple audiobooks for myself.  Being practical me, I tried to buy ones that I probably wouldn't get through trying to read on my own.  Let's face it, the last thing I want to do after work is to read non-fiction on business.  Yet, with my constant desire to better my knowledge, I did want to learn what Jim Collins had to say.  Still a bit long to get through, even as an audio book, but well worth it.  Good prep for B-school, methinks.

The Whole World Over by Julia Glass and Denis O'Hare (Audio CD - May 9, 2006) - Abridged

I give this one 3 1/2 stars on the Netflix scale.  I liked it overall for the types of characters it contained but I found a lot of it pretty depressing for all the failed relationships...

Freakonomics CD: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything by Steven D. Levitt, Stephen J. Dubner, and Dubner Stephen J. (Audio CD - May 1, 2005) - Audiobook

Just started this one.  Interesting, but so far the overarching takeaways are less clear.  My personal pick, can you tell?
