Still alive and well.

Just thought I should post a quick note saying I'm alive and all is well since I haven't posted anything for awhile. I'm very busy at the moment but mainly it's good busy so I don't mind.
My not having a work studio is still driving me nuts but I'm trying to find ways around it plus I've started asking around for somwhere to rent.
Meet up with a group of jewellery designers last friday. They where all older then me (most by alot)  and they moaned about me not being as good as them because I'm not a jewellery designer on fulltime. Well it's all well and good if you have a man that supports you while you stay home and make jwellery but I'm just not wired that way, because there is no way they could live on the money they make out of selling jewellery. About 5 of them also teach jewellery but apparently that's OK and nothing like what I do!
I was a bit dissapointed in there behaviour but I didn't really feel angry or upset just quite and reflective and I think that's probebly good.
Also I bought a new silver polisher since the old one died, it was hard to part with my money but no one knew how to fix it for me ( by no one I mean my boyfriend) so I had to.
And I did finish making this necklace that I've been working on :-)

Tomorrow I'm going to some galleries and jewellery shops to hand in my portfolio and see if they might be interested so please wish me luck.

I'm supposed to finish work soon but it looks like they might ask us to stay another week month. I'll find out what's going on, on tuesday.

Had a great day yesterday. Went to london with my boyfriend an one of his daughters as a bithday treat fo her (it's like a tradition when they turn 13) we went to the london dungeoun which was great fun and I got convicted to hang for being swedish (didn't know THAT was a crime) then we went around the thames festival. There was loads to see, I especially liked a demonstration of  takwandoo (did I spell that right?)  and then we  finished of the day with the london eye (that wasn't too entertaining because i've already been on in three times before and I got bored the first time).

Well I've just been making some resin jewellery so will go have a look at it now. I think one of the pendants might turn out really well, not as happy with the other bits but I think teenagers might like them (they are manily chunky an shiny and my boyfriends teenage daughters usually love stuff like that). I have been trying to keep up with my friends lists post so hope I haven't missed anything interesting, If I have feel free o yell at me. Hope your all OK thou :-)
