I'm 21 Now... Cool.
Hey everyone. So I'm 21 now! Hooray! I really don't feel any different at all and I have yet to actually use my newfound powers. Jackie came to visit this weekend and we were planning to go to the bar but the MSU vs. Notre Dame football game was going on at the stadium and all the bars and roads were packed. So unfortunately that didn't happen. Instead we watched the game, did some shopping, ate tacos and played Super Smash Bros. on the GameCube. Good times.
So I'm curious, has anyone else lately been struck by the senioritis bug? I am still in school til next August but I can't seem to push myself to do homework or papers before last minute like I used to. I have a 5 pager due Friday and I wrote one page tonight before going, "Meh, good enough, I'll finish it later." That might have been because Skyler dashed all my hopes and dreams for the paper by pointing out that the GDP generally grows only about 2% per year and so it would have to be a much larger jump to indicate "economic growth." (We're writing about Economic indicators and how to measure them) So there went my conclusion and any motivation to write more.
I hate to say it, but sine school started I have become boring again. I have nothing interesting to report except that living in an apartment on campus is WAY better than living at home and other than being "Apartment Mom," since I always end up being the one to clean house, I am still very content in my new home.
What about the rest of you? LiveJournal feels so empty since no one ever updates!
