You know, movie characters really are dumb
So, I got the set of the first 4 alien movies from the library and I'm watching the first one for the first time in I don't know how long. Kane, the first character to have an encounter with one of the critters finds the egg pods, and pokes the damn thing! I'm watching it going, "well, considering, I think you deserve to have the face grabber latch on to you." Yeah, I know it's a movie, but...it still bugs me. It's like when the chicks in horror movies run up the stairs in stead of out the door or into the woods.
