(no subject)
I know that I haven't updated my journal in some time, but really...I don't do much else than work these days. Well that and complain about my job. :)
I ordered new glasses last week. I get a new pair of glasses for free every year, that comes with my job. Plastic frames again
(my last three pairs have been plastic -
2003: transparent LOOK frames
2004: wine coloured Dolce & Gabbana frames
and now
2005: black Ralph Lauren frames)
Plastic frames are very hot right now - no more of these meek metal frames - and preferably in bold colours like bright red, acid green or hot pink (or a combination of them). Transparent plastic frames are still trendy, though, as long as they have the obligatory wide side arms.
That was trend lesson of the day. Ha! Not that I care about today's fashion (more than as phenomena), but I must admit that I'm happy about plastic frames coming into fashion seeing as they are more obtainable then. They are, after all, my favourite kind of frame.
I will probably get my glasses late this week or maybe early next. I'll post a photo when they get here.
Oh, and not that I'm one of those gaming geeks or anything, but hey! Tomorrow the famed World of Warcraft will arrive in my mailbox! I do look forward to that very much...
