Wonderful.

Wonders are things that make people WONDER. How long has it been here, how did it come to be? Does anyone really wonder about a canoe? Or igloos in general? Prairie skies. . . so the land is really flat and the sky goes on forever because the land is really flat. Amazing.

And can you just swap Cabot Trail for Igloo on national television just because there aren't enough wonders in the NWT?

It's not even just that the Sleeping Giant didn't get the title, it's that neither the Bay of Fundy nor Niagara Falls did! If anything Niagara Falls is one of the most popular tourism spots in Canada -- which means people wonder about it. Canoes can be found everywhere, which is also part of the reason the Stanley Cup was such a ridiculous nomination. The votes counted for nothing, really. To cast the last 15, and then not even the top three were chosen by the panel of three elderly folk from Southern Ontario? It seems like a waste of time. At least we know what Canadians think are the seven wonders.

If the CBC thought the votes crashed their computers, just wait for the emails after this show.

ETA: Turns out the Falls did get in, well there's one!
