EMMY'S!!

It's just the preshow right now, but it's still very exciting. Only Billy Bush is a very awkward interviewer, and I don't think Jeremy Piven was kidding when he was being snarky.

I wonder how many people are actually interested in what Fashion Guy has to say about the dresses that not one member of the general public can afford. I particularly love the shots of the GoodYear Blimp -- is that a sort of advertising? It doesn't make me think, "I need a blimp, I should go with GoodYear! It will take care of all of my blimping needs." Should it?

I need to leave for work at 10:30, but until then it's Emmy's all the way. It's a very exciting one this year, because even though a lot of people aren't nominated it is mixed up a bit; and I watch more shows this year and therefore I have plenty of people to cheer for!

COMMERCIAL FOR 30 ROCK! I can't wait.

I hate Barry Manilow, he is such a jackass and he's extremely full of himself. What is with his FACE?! Please please don't girate EVER anymore.

My cousin phoned this morning and told--not asked, but told-- me that we were cleaning the carpets at Timbers tonight. Then she told me that I was going to pick up the new employee (Jamie), who's house is completely out of the way. I was going to lie and say that I was called into DQ to work, but my parents thought against it. Though my mom didn't agree that I should have to pick up some stranger at 11:00 at night. I phone my cousin back and told her that I coudn't pick him up, and she wasn't too happy but you know what?! I am driving from my camp into then to the other side of town, which is a 30 minute drive. I'm not going to detour to pick up this guy, only to go to work for an hour and a half, make $12 and then drive 30 minutes back. I'm not even profiting from it -- in fact, I'm probably losing money since my 14 year old car isn't exactly easy on gas. You have employees who live in town, get them to do these 2 hour jobs!

Luckily this is the last time I ever have to clean carpets in my life, because it was only a summer job and I told them I wanted the final week off. But it's not really a week off because I work Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri and Saturday morning (my birthday) at DQ. The summer has sucked so much. It didn't even feel like summer.

Conan's hosting the Emmy's, and thus I must watch.

Cheers!

P.S. GREATEST EVER!!

Dwight: "Damnit, Jim!"
Jim: "No. I did not have Conan O'Brien fall through the ceiling."

This is such a great intro!
