Zomg a post
I know it's been like forevers as I use wordpress most of the time.
The holidays were nutz, but over all pretty good. Hopefully yours went okie as well.
I've returned to work, sort of. Looks like this less pay part time crap will continue for a few more months at least. Hear today that people at Ford corp were looking at a 20% pay cut. Only 20%? Damn, I should work at Ford proper instead of just a supplier. My cut-back "deal" is so not even close to that good. Better than no work, but it sucks. I can't find something else in the mean time to save my life around here either. Not even temp work. We'll see if something opens up somewhere now that it's '09 and budgets are opening up. I only applied to 908234872378964508969003 jobs last month, or at least that's what it feels like. I'm not even being picky. If I think I can learn said job, they are offering my minimal dollars, and are not more than a 45 min drive away, I've applied. The thing is so is everyone else and on the avg, there's 2000 apps for every opening around here (or so says some of the people I know in various HR depts).
Ah well. For the most part life is busy, yet same old same old, which I should be thankful for, yes?
