My Top Ten Fandom Couples (and why they're awesome)
I got a bunch of new icons and I mostly want to show them off... BUT ANYWAY! This is more like an article XD

#10- Code Lyoko- Ulrich/Yumi
Well, I typed up a fanfic of these two forever ago, so I basically had to put them on this list. So, they go to a boarding school in France. Ulrich is the soccer pro and Yumi is an eastern foreigner (who's also a year older than him). And, oh yeah, every now and then, they go in this digital dimension to fight a computer program that continues to try and take over the world. The couple is completly canon (as shown in the image above) and pretty bad-ass. The show wasn't half bad, either. lol
#9- YuGiOh!- Seto/Tea
And now we've struck the crack. Seto is the guy that cares only for himself, his money, his company, and his brother. Tea loves everything lol. So, there's been a few instances where I've continued to think that she could soften him up, but yeah, crack. The reason I started liking this couple? I read an old ep summary once and it said 'Seto and Tea are captured during a duel. Seto saves Tea.' or something like that. I was like 'DAWWWWWW', but the ep went... differently... but it was too late, I had already liked the couple and had started looking for fanfiction. lol
#8- DC Universe (Teen Titans)- Static/Raven
CrackCrackCrack. This is so insanely crack. But it's one of my fave pairings ever... so... They hardly ever interact in the series/comics/everything. So, again, what made me like these two together? Well, I was considering to write a Static Shock fanfic with a romantic interest OC. As the story went on, my OC turned into Raven (b/c of her powers and background). Thus, I fell in love with the couple. After awhile, I discovered that... I wasn't the only one... O.O It was awesome! There were other people with the same love pairing! AWESOME! And they are what kept the pairing alive for me.
#7- Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon- Ami/Nephrite
Oh they are cute and you know it! This pairing is a HUGE canon and, if the series would have continued, they would have got together. He gives her a reason to be on the good side again and she gives him a reason to live. It's adorable! And the part where he saves her! DAW! I always love it when one of the bad guys is willing to change b/c they fell in love with the goodest girl on the good guy's team. I mean, who doesn't love that? Sadly, the pairing is ONLY in PGSM and in no other Sailor Moon series. Sure, there's fanfics and stuff, but it's just not as good as the show... especially when you know that they're canon. If only it was more than one season.
#6- G Gundam- Domon/Rain
Wow, how old is that show? I don't care! I was instantly in love with this show (b/c it was a Gundam, duh). Then there was the whole thing about the countries fighting against one another and then the card reference... Then, BAM, they're the cutest couple EVA! Well, not 'bam'. I mean, he was all stoic and pissed easy and she was all nicey, nice. But she always showed that she cared about him and (once in a blue moon) he'd show that he loved her more than anything else (but never admitted it). In the finale, she was captured to power a weapon and almost killed. Long story, short; he saved her and admitted his love. Best. Finale. Ever.
#5- Ben 10- Kevin/Gwen
This was easily my fave pairing ever (or at least second), but MoA had to go and fluff that up. In the first two seasons of Alien Force, they were the BEST pairing EVER. Even in the movie they were awesome (though they could have shown more Gweviness). THEN. Season 3 comes out. Kevin is turned into a 'monster' again and their relationship suffers. THEN. Kevin gets turned back to normal. I was happy and ecstatic again... THEN Ultimate Alien comes out and, while they are an official couple now, all the fluff is gone (ALL OF IT) and now they just argue all the time. Except in one episode (Too Hot To Handle), Gwen was almost hurt and Kevin freaked. That was nice. Maybe they will get cute again with time, but until then, I will continue to watch Ben 10 with a scowl on my face.
#4- Naruto- Shikamaru/Temari
I liked this couple since they first fought in the Chunin exams. Since then, they've been AWESOME. Though, they are (kinda) crackish, since they aren't together. Though, when they see eachother, they lightly flirt. They're attacks counter the other's. They are just awesome. First off, Shika is AWESOME and Tema is AWESOME. What's not to like? I do think that they'll eventually end up together, though. Even the author, Kishimoto, likes that couple. I kept wishing (during the whole Hidan thing) that Temari would randomly show up. That would have been awesome. Except, I don't really watch the anime on DisneyXD (cuz the it takes way longer to watch than read lol) and now Naruto has been taken off the internet. Last I heard, Minato was kicking Madara's ass... but that's the last I heard. I would buy the manga, but I never see it when I go shopping. It's like Naruto has vanished off the face of the Earth.
#3- Final Fantasy X-2- Gippal/Rikku
Ok, so these two are a little crackish, too... but they are SUCH a couple. See, Square Enix was planning to make a X-3 (Rikku's story), but they eventually cancelled it. There's multiple parts in the game that make a few hints at the Rippal pairing, so I KNOW they would've been a "couple" in the third installment. Course, we all know how Final Fantasy people work, right? This X-3 fantasy may still end up happening. Till then, I satisfy myself with mountains and mountains of fanfiction. It would be so freaking awesome if that happened though and (knowing how many times they keep going with VII) I think there's hope. Especially since X was the BEST FF game EVER. (and the fact that it brought in TONS of money, leading to the first ever FF sequel) One can dream.
#2- Generator Rex- Six/Holiday
Yeah, like you didn't see that coming. I suppose I'll repeat myself. Stoic bad ass + sweet doctor? Yes, please. They're pretty much canon and I know something will happen with them in the series. We're only 13 eps in and MoA is finishing up with Season 3 right now. Yes. Season 3. What do you think they've been doing during that hiatus? I love the small moments they have together and I cannot wait until something really happens between them (again). It may not change their current relationship and it may not change the flow of the series, but even just another hand out to him would be awesome. Though, I do want to see more of Six trying to reach out to her. There's only been super small hints of that and I want to see a big one that glows neon and says 'FLUFF HERE'.
#1- X-Men- Gambit/Rogue
They are so damn sexy. You have GOT to love this couple. Rogue is DROP DEAD gorgeous, but with her mutation can't touch anyone without draining them. Gambit is a lady's man, but he OBVIOUSLY loves Rogue. They continue to have an on again/off again relationship, traveling the road of drama, angst, romance, sex (ever so often) and other stuff. They love eachother so much and they're ALWAYS together, but in the same way, they can't ever be together. Only in some of those completly random, soap opera like events (Rogue gets momentarily cured, Gambit dies and comes back, etc.) can they be somewhat together. It's sad and it's pure love. They will ALWAYS be my favorite pairing ever. I really hope FOX somehow pairs them up in the movies. That would be KICK ASS! And the movies made me hate Ice Man for that exact reason. lol
