Wowsa, what a trip.
Alright, so Thurs. got to school, blah blah, left right after homeroom. Had a very long bus ride, 6 or so hours. Ew, not a very good bus though, haha, oh well, me, danielle, molly, mike, maria and sam played a very large game of drug dealer. That did the trick. Kinda watched the notebook...which gets very boring, and blue collar comedy...which we had to yell "shut up" to the people who were overly laughing. Yes, the bus ride wasn't a highlight. Got to New Jersey..and me, Molls, Danielle, Kendra (playa plaaaay) ventured up to our room (which had a gorgeous view of the highway/construction pssssht) Went to a Medievil Times dinner show thing. Ah, so much fun, the four of us plus mike and kim would scream so loud and cheer on our beloved blue knight. He was a good soul, haha he loved us. But yes, overall a very fun night to start the trip. We got back late and passed out watching tv.
Well being the girls that we are...got our wake up call at 5 am in order to give us enough time to get ready. I know, crazy. We had quite the getting-ready party. Kinda reminded me of one of those Herbal essences commericials. Went down to our breakfast early to beat the crowd, pigged out, and then did our usual...stealing a million crossants and sneakily bringing them back up to the room. After that, had a long bus ride to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in which we were able to play a big ass game of drug dealer. Walked around the museum for an hour or so, I liked it, man I wish I were artistic. After, had another very long gus ride to Hoffstra. Ohhhh man, um...how bad/fucking hilarious was that? Okay, so our little proctor dude was insane. Ha, Kendra and Molly can basically reinact everything that guy did or said. Very funny. After, drove back to Manhattan to do some shopping. Or kinda shop? Well, we got there (drop, drop!) and walked to the 2 theaters. Had lunch at McDonalds...haha, and then the four of us + Mike did some shopping. Well, okay, actually all we had time for was the Roxy store, and gift shop, and a street vendor selling handbags. So we decided to splurge at Roxy, and I got a new bathing suit and sandals, along with a knock off Dooney and Burke handbag. Ha, went to get ice cream after our shopping "extravaganza" and I got an April fools day trick played on me. Pssst. (DL3!) Returned to the theatre (which was ironically called, The Palace Theatre) and got our tix. for All Shook Up. Had seats way up on the balcony, but talked to a couple girls from Mississippi who were there for their show choir. Had the best time there. How amazing was that? Wicked cute play complete with Elvis songs. Yes, it was muy fun. Walking back, we saw a ton of people dressed up as Star Wars figures, haha, wish I got some pictures. Got back to the hotel around midnight or so and passed out watching tv yet again.
Got up at 6 on Saturday...had another hair party, complete with french braiding this time (playa plaaaay) and then we headed off the the Lincoln Center to tour some different theaters. Danielle, Molls, and I had the cutest tour guide. What a muffin she was! She showed us all around and we got to go to Juliard where Center Stage was filmed. It was amazing. Then we had a "meet the artist" thing, a group of 4 students played for us, they were very good. Went on a dinner cruise after. Haha, we had good times singing and dancing and just being retarted. Mm, and I bought a wicked cute pic. of the four of us on the deck of the boat. That just about summed up the trip, we had a long bus ride home. Ha, although complete with more games of drug dealer and just laughing and being crazy. Very good times in NYC.
