I agree 110% with fourth_rose ... "beautifully bitterwseet" describes this perfectly - not only this chapter, but the fic so far.
You do emotions so well ... we can feel the sadness emanating from them, through their words, their actions, their memories. But you have also interspersed sweet moments in amongst the feeling of sadness & grief ... from the image of B&B, hand in hand, in front of the shop window looking at "old junk" ... to Brennan not correcting the use of "Mrs Booth" or sharing her views of church ... to Booth sharing memories with Brennan of when he returned from overseas & the only person he could talk to of what he was feeling & going through, was his grandmother ... to Booth wanting to keep the battered tin. Loved them all!
**"No, that definitely goes with the to-keep things." "Booth, it's dented, the lid won't fit properly." "I'm keeping it." Margaret walks over to the pantry returning with a battered tin in her hands. "I've got some peanut brittle left." "Jared dared me to climb up and get it once while you were out. I dropped it and the lid came off. There was peanut brittle all over the floor. But we managed to pick it up before you came back. We were so relieved you didn't find out." "I did. The floor was sticky and I kept stepping on peanuts for days." ...this my favourite part - most definately bittersweet.
Glad to hear you think I've managed to convey their emotions. And glad you keep reading despite all the gloom and doom ;) I think I would find it difficult to write anything that was solely happiness and sunshine, but I would find it just as difficult to write something that was 100% sadness. Maybe I could do it in oneshots... I'll put it on my challenge list :)
Delighted you like the last part. I could have made up a new memory, but decided to go with this one from Moments I.
Hope you haven't given up on the show. I'm not into spoilers, but even I have picked up that the upcoming epi is not to be missed!

Another wonderfully written chapter.
Always looking forward to more :-):-):-)
