I spent a lovely evening last night rereading 'Moments'. What a treat it was to go back and revisit that story. I've missed your writing and I'm thrilled that you're back to it again. When you can, of course.

Oh Margaret... I really liked her, so I'm sorry to see her go. But her loss sets up a lot in this story. Poor Booth - it's so like him to take on responsibilities that are not necessarily his own. He's playing the 'what if' game wearing 'the face he wears when he thinks she is not looking'. That's a line that carries a lot of meaning for both of them. It's nice to see Brennan being sensitive enough to recognize his reaction. It really shows how well she knows him, even in ways he doesn't realize. Good advice from her too concerning Jared. Booth does step in too quickly to carry the load alone, and Jared could maybe just stretch his wings if he was given the chance to do so.

Another thing you did so well in this chapter was the contrasting angst vs. the humour. You did a great job of lightening the chapter significantly with the section with Angela. There were several places where I laughed out loud (best of which was "Dude, you've got your t-shirt on inside out." Bwahahahahahahahaha!). I loved seeing Angela at her best as well, playing with Brennan when she already knew very well what was going on. Very nice.

And we're back on board for the ride. Can't wait to see where you take B&B in this one. I suspect things are going to get dark before you lighten their load, but I know it will all end well. Looking forward to it...

Thank you ♥ I've missed fic writing. I'm lucky to have job where I get to write, but the last few months it's been the kind of brain draining writing that makes it difficult to go home and write fic.

Margaret going is the idea that made me start thinking about a sequel. Without it, there wouldn't be a part II. At least she's my creation, so I'm not toppling off any of the show characters!

Did think about leaving the humor for a later chapter, but decided against it. Happy to hear the contrast worked for you. The inside out T-shirt part it quite short so considered cutting it, but that's one darling I didn't kill in the end :)
