well....

yesterday i got my ''permanent retainer'' on my bottom teeth removed.. it was permanent for 3 years only, thank god. it hurt, the orthodontist pried it off with a little dental crowbar thing.. :[

oh well. wisdom teeth were worse.

eeenyways, i'm not getting my car fixed so i just have to deal with a cracked windshield and a dented door. it opens, but it doesn't close all the way and it's taped with packing tape right now.

on the bright side, i'm going to breyerfest tomorrow :D it's only a 6 hr drive. i'll live.

i found an AMAZING buy the other day at an antique store - a beval/keiffer designed close contact saddle, made by kieffer. i emailed beval and asked the rep what the history on this saddle was, and she told me it was designed (and made) at least 20 years ago by beval and kieffer as a collaboration saddle specifically for show jumping, the plans were shipped back to kieffer in germany and it was built :] it looks and feels like a 16.5 or a 17, but regardless, it fits, and when i get back i'm riding in it and deciding whether or not to keep it. i could sell it for $600-$700, but i kind of want to keep it because it IS so rare. the rep said she hadn't seen one in years, and mine is in really good condition. it was DISGUSTING when i bought it, disty, moldy, and the leather was all plasticy, but i cleaned it up, and 6 oils later, it's almost back to life :] i rolled the flaps a little too so they're getting near soft again. i'm so exited :D

on the other hand, i have to keep track of these for my own enjoyment:
