i dont mean to sound poetic at all

sometimes when i work and theres nothing to hear except the keyboard and the fan and the occasional squeaking of the chair, i hear voices in my head. or sounds of scenes from my past. i know you have those too.

and in these times, i dont want to talk to anyone. i just want to listen.
