Random Facts About Edward! ( 25 normal, 5 NSFW )
(( I, in my munly glory, got bored and started typing up random facts about Ed. 25 normal, 5 NSFW, in case anyone's too lazy to read titles. ))
1. He loves popsicles, especially grape-flavored ones. A bit too much, in fact.
2. He's become very good at hiding his grief over the years. This is why he's been able to function normally despite the death of his brother and...well, nearly everyone else he knows.
3. This is going to bite him in the ass eventually, and if he doesn't find outlets for his current grief, Edward will break. Meaning, Alexander is entirely likely to take control for a while.
4. His 'personalities', Michelle and Alexander, are actually more accurately described as spirits that took up residence in his body rather than moving on.
5. He isn't entirely certain where Michelle and Alexander came from; in what correspondence he's had with Michelle, she has avoided explaining further, but they seem to have been related before they ended up here.
6. Speaking of his personalities, though his mun has been too lazy to write up where this happens, he and Michelle have reached an agreement that she will stop coming out for now and focus on keeping Alexander from taking control while Edward is in his vulnerable state of grief.
7. He and Michelle have been talking by use of a notebook, which they will switch places to write in.
8. Edward is polyamorous, but he cares about all of the people he's with. Unless he's drunk (looking at you, Reno!), he doesn't take a new lover into his life easily.
9. He has a hard time speaking his affections; he's better with showing them.
10. As has been proven time and time again with Reno, Edward sucks at cheering people up. It doesn't stop him from trying.
11. If Alphonse--his world's Alphonse--were to appear in front of him right now, alive and uninjured, Ed would grab him by the collar and make him swear never to try to throw himself away for his own sake again.
12. He really does view Alphonse's sacrifice as just that--throwing himself away. Ed firmly believes that he could have gotten them both through the portal into the Nexus and saved Al, if he hadn't been shoved through first.
13. He hasn't a musical bone in his body, but he loves to sing in the shower. Very, very badly.
14. Edward keeps Reno around partly out of caring for him, and partly because the man's "cute mode" attitude reminds him of Alphonse just enough to be comforting--so long as Reno doesn't start looking like Alphonse, everything's peachy.
15. Though it takes a lot to get him to admit it, he cares very deeply about the ones left from his world's destruction--that is, Roy and Envy. Wrath can still go to hell.
16. For his first week in the Nexus, Ed was constantly dodging attempts on his life from Wrath. He isn't sure why Wrath stopped, but he has a hunch it had to do with some manner of talking-to from Envy--since Envy's the only one the kid seems to listen to.
17. He's only said "I love you," once. He was harshly rejected.
18. Edward's 18. Yes, his mun seriously only just now thought to mention that.
19. His mun has also seen several possible birthdays for canon Edward, but this Edward's birthday is February 2.
20. He feels a degree of guilt for the events leading up to Envy losing his right arm as detailed in his Envy's NexusLOL.net entry, but the fact that Envy is pleased with regaining his own humanity and doesn't see the loss as much of a problem puts a damper on this guilt.
21. For chrissakes, NO, Alexander has nothing to do with the Nina-Alexander tragedy. This is an unfortunate coincidence in name choices and nothing more.
22. He's only been attracted to one girl in his life, and he doesn't think that's enough to count as bisexual. Thus, he's gay for the most part.
23. Edward is fully aware that if he were open about his relationships, he would break the collective minds of the Hagaren-based Nexusites. Thus, it's not something he generally talks about unless asked.
24. He never did learn to stop attempting to make sense of anything Envy does.
25. In order of obtainment, as it were, his lovers are Roy, Envy, and Reno.
26. He likes to bite during sex, but being bitten? Not so much. He feels that he has enough scars already and doesn't get why there should be more--he doesn't bite Envy for this same reason, ever since the former homonculus had surgery for automail.
27. He's almost always bottom, but every time he's been seme he's been quite good at it. (Looking at you again, Reno.)
28. Though scar tissue is generally known for having dulled senses and nerves, the scar tissue around Ed'a automail ports is actually a very sensitive weak spot of his.
