A very tough 2014

Yup, I guess the title says it all. 2014 haven't really been a great one other than....I can't even list it down.

I must say that it has been quite tough trying to get back on my feet and working it out just so that I get to fit to get to YOG, probably that's the highlight of the year? But rather than having a great tournament, I feel that I was there for the atmosphere. It wasn't easy getting back into the sport after having a fracture and even though I feel like I rushed back into it, I guess the biggest thank you should go to Dr Cormac. I had a strain in my ACL knee 2 weeks before YOG that made me so worried but I went there on fully recovered. I can never thank him enough for what he have done for me this year. Now that I am going back to play, I am pretty much happy with the decision I made even though work is taking a toll and not forgetting how tiring it is to deal with other things altogether. I guess this is one of the toughest thing in a team sport but part of me strongly believe that we will make it through and have a good Sea Games next year. For me and some of them, we definitely want to end our international career on a happy note. At least for me, I know the reasons why I am putting in so much effort. It is going to be worth it.

For now, I really hope 2014 will finish on a good note. I have 2 more months to get myself happy again. Fracture have healed and fully back to sport. Things on the outside just need to die off and perhaps I could move around safer and stuff. It is not going to be easy but I guess, some things take time ya? Trying to start positive in this.

Dear R, I will get stronger than you think. I will.
