Here We Go
Before I begin bitching about whats really happening I want to give you all a background of it.
So in September of this year, I was like every other Music Director in WMBC (UMBC Radio) heard the news about another Ecofest that's planning to happen in Mid-November. Keep in mind that I did a preshow for Ecofest in April of this year. I went to the guy who is hosting the event, he has a big position for Student Environmental Association (SEA) for short. I ask him if there is another chance for me to spin. He said, "We will see" I said "Okay"
Couple weeks later, we were at the same room in the same time. I asked him again. He said, "We probably don't have time for a DJ slot, maybe we can have a pre-show again like last time" I said "Okay"
Couple weeks later, I asked him, "Whats going on with the pre-show" He said, "Dude we are not having a pre-show, and we are having Joe to spin for the event" I said, "What is this Joe guy?" He didnt really responded.
Another couple weeks past by He said, "Oh we don't have enough time for a DJ" This is the time when I facebooked Joe. Who was a new DJ and still a new DJ.
Another month passed by, I saw an event invite on facebook by Adam J Kurtz which has the following
If you look down there it says DJ Joe Walo!!!!!!!!
Going back to right now. Last night i had good talk with a friend. He knew that I was upset about Adam J and Chris (He said) guy went back my back and do this. Because he heard a voice mail by another friend who told him that "Shit was out of control" I really don't know if my friend do this for their benefit or my benefit. From the way I understand is that he was speaking the truth.
But why should I write to facebook and livejournal about this again. I am already calm down and kind of over with it? Because I want the world to know how much of dumb ass you guys really are. Lets start with you Mr Kurtz. Mr. SEB. Mr. I only know friends that can DJs. Mr. Clique ish bitch. WMBC had no relation with SEB. Nothing! If you would like to be in partner with WMBC. No forget it. Go back to your little Student Event Board. WMBC don't need this kind of shit. WMBC is a freeform radio. WMBC is not about bring your boy DJ Joe I can't barly mix two records together and still think I am the coolest guy in UMBC. FUCK THAT!!!! WMBC is about discovering new music and new DJs. What does Mr. Weloso stand? Nothing!!!
2nd, Chris, you really went to the bad route of not telling me whats really going on. If you dont want to give me gig. Tell it to my face. TELL IT TO MY FACE, dont give me this I am going behind your back and fuck with you head crap. To me, that sounds like I am pretend to be nice to you but I am really going after my own interest.
3rd. You who called up Avi and tell him all this bullshit. You already graduated. Why is this any of your business? It is not! So piss off!!
Finally, don't ever ask me for a gig on campus with SEB, because I am not doing it. WMBC for life!!!!!! I only do gigs for WMBC and not any other association such as SEB or SEA. Music should not be a political party, or a one way street. With SEB, it is like that. You want to book shitty DJ, you go right ahead. You can run all your little Indie Dance all your want or listening party. Who the fuck got you as promotional director? Fuck You!!!!!
