the gratitude project--bargain-hunting edition!
So, my dryer went out a couple of days ago. It had been on its last legs for a while anyway. Went to Lowe's and got a new one for just under $300 with 0% for 6 months, *and* got a new LR rug on clearance, marked down from $198 to $39! W00t! Then I went to the local Vietnamese restaurant and treated myself to this fabulous spicy pineapple chicken noodle dish, which was served on a hollowed out half a pineapple. Delicious, and I still have half of it for lunch tomorrow. The weather was gorgeous today, and work was pleasant. Now, I have the house to myself and a Mudslide in my hand.
