So it turns out they just went through the Supreme Court today to take down the ban of hand guns in the District of Columbia.
I think thats awesome....You know what's not awesome?
It only won by 5-4....
I know alot of you probably don't agree or don't know that I own a handgun.
that's cool. You don't have to own a gun, but I feel it's necessary for me as a 20 year old girl who used to live alone in Orlando in an apartment complex that's kinda shady and with parents that live at least an hour away.
I feel like I have a right to own something that can protect me that criminals can get ahold of alot easier than I can.
I guess the people in the Supreme Court like Justice Stephen Breyer think that, "In my view, there simply is no untouchable constitutional right guaranteed by the Second Amendment to keep loaded handguns in the house in crime-ridden urban areas."
For those who can't remember the exact wording..." A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, The right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."
....Just try to keep in mind that insane people will do insane things no matter what insane law is passed to try and keep them from it.
