Let me ramble to have this on record.
I used to see these people everyday. I've practically lived with them.
I just listened to "twistin the night away" by sam cooke. This got me thinking about when I was a little kid and rode around in my aunt kathy's car. She played that song a lot. The lyric "dancin with the chick in slacks" confused me as a kid. I thought he said chicken slacks. I asked Kathy why a chicken would wear slacks. We still laugh about it whenever I see her. I lived with her 3 times.
I was at work and was making fruit tarts. The blueberries made me think of the giant back yard. Papaw's backyard. The big blueberry bushes in which my brother and I would hide. Papaw would play this odd game. He'd say that if you put this particular yellow flower under your chin and saw a yellow reflection you liked butter. It's needlessly confusing and vague to me now, but I can't help but think about it when I see that flower. The last time I saw Papaw he wasn't himself. He was Pete Kyte: The old man. I've never seen that before.
All this talk about tim burton lately made me think of stop motion animation. Andrew and I used to make stop motion films with army men when we were kids. It pissed my dad off that we used his camera.
I can't listen to George Harrison without thinking of my aunt penny before she became a ultra-conservative bitch. Those were good times.
Grandma likes CCR... that's funny if you know her.
Uncle Dean likes John Wayne... I bet it's because he's soo hot.
Aunt Debra's a lot like the vicar of dibly... she used to have pics of jesus along with hunky men on her wall.
ok I'm sorry... that was really lame. I just wanted to remember stuff.
