Oh good gravy, speak on! No worries at all.

I agree with the character development. I wanted to see more back stories and more texture. I also felt like the characters were way too cold, in feeling and in action.

Are you a Tarantino fan? Or more a fan of movies and movie lore?

Dean and Hank Venture in your avatar? :D

Not a big tarantino fan. I like his movies in the way they all are in some clever way linked to each other through character names. even ones he just wrote like true romance or Natural Born Killers.
I think what I like about him is we both have the same taste in a lot of movies. Esepcially old westerns, exploitation movies, Kung-fu and especially in the ways of Japanese horror like Miike Takashi (Audition, Ichi the Killer)
I am more a general movie fan. I never finished in it but I took 3 years of film theory in Uni which was the most stressful fun I ever had writing essay after essay on movies.

and yes those are the Venture Twins that we know and love.

QT's favourite movie is The Good The Bad and the Ugly and combined with the fact that he tries to pay homage to Once Upon A Time In The West is interesting. Those films are classic. I find his trying to make connection to classic westerns a bit overreaching.
