One more study upon a large pile of them proving people who say "women are treated equally in the workplace" wrong.
"A man who gets angry at work may well be admired for it but a woman who shows anger in the workplace is liable to be seen as "out of control" and incompetent, according to a new study presented Friday."
Duh. I'm surprised I haven't seen this on feministing or Pandagon. But that could be because most of their bloggers are off at Yearly Kos (WANT TO GO SO BAD).
ERGH IT'S SO HOT. ;_; And it's not going to cool down soon either. Knowing Murphy's law, as soon as we leave for the Upper Peninsula it'll cool down here in SE Michigan.
Speaking of which, I get to help drive up there. My mom said that once we get on I-75 I can drive us for a couple of hours. I told them point-blank that I was not going to drive over the Mackinac Bridge, and they agreed whole-heartedly. It really doesn't help that the History Channel says that the Mackinac is in need of repairs and that that highway bridge in Minnesota collapsed. (and I'm scared of heights and all that.)
