Major overhaul~
AARGH. My GIMP isn't working right and I can't use all my precious brushes. *flails*
At least I have all my files back. Yay short stories!
I re-did my journal layout, complete with not-so-great banner of the Chippettes from Alvin and the Chipmunks. limepocky limepocky limepocky
I also uploaded a bunch of new icons and upgraded to a Plus account, so now I can have fifteen icons! :D
Today I was bored and watched one of those things on the Discovery Channel about people who lived in haunted houses. It was pretty interesting, because the parents in the story were absolute douchebags. Regardless of whether you believe in ghosts and hauntings and such, if all of your kids are having repeated "encounters" with these so-called spirits, you should do more than just scold the oldest for "scaring his siblings" by telling them that the house used to be a morgue.
But I now know why so many horror movies have stupid people in them. Because when this shit happens in real life, people are stupid about it.
Most of the time I watch these things to laugh at the horrible acting of the people who are supposed to be re-enacting what happened to the real people. Like, at the beginning the oldest son was like "this house is eeevilll!!11", and then when he's being carted off to the hospital 'cause he supposedly went insane, he was all "now that I'm out, it'll come after you next". XD And he said it the way the criminals in Scooby-Doo say "I would have gotten away with it too, if it hadn't been for you meddling kids!" (PS I want a t-shirt that says that.)
