I don't know why I did it. Boredom, maybe. Possibly curiosity. But I've already lost several brain cells over it.
I went into the Eragon thread on Gaia. It was...horrific. There were only two people in there who didn't use chatspeak. And they were trying to guess who the third rider was for Book 3, and one of them said "it could be Arya". Someone else replied "meh, that's too predictable".
Duh. That's the way the first two books are. Do they honestly think Paolini is capable of plot twists? Everything he does is completely predictable. So if people see something and think "that's predictable", than that's probably what's going to happen.
I'm waiting for the third book to come out, so that all the Eragon hype will die away and people will finally see what a piece of crap Inheritance is. But that's a year and a half away. Ergh.
