at maxfield's
I have said this before, but working on Sundays has such a different feel to it now that I look forward to what I'm doing and care about it. My new Sunday work routine is to work at Maxfield's, because they have wireless and a vibe I like. Also, being so close to the park makes me feel as though I am actually spending my Sunday in the park, although in fact I am not. Also, it's close to a yarn store.
And today at Maxfield's there is a dog who bears a VERY strong resemblance to sopherson! I have never seen a dog who looked much like her at all, but this one really does - with the spot on her head and everything. This dog has a cropped tail, which kind of freaked me out because then I started imagining what if someone had cut Sophie's tail off etc. I wanted to ask the owners what breed the dog is so I can tell raybear, but I didn't. I miss Sophie.
I could always start an LJ for my roommate's dog, Ollie. His user name could be "oliverclothesoff" - that is his AKC registered name because my roommate is an ass. Well, if that isn't taken, which it probably is. But there are already some issues of Ollie forming too strong of a bond with me vs. my roommate, so I feel like starting him an LJ would kind of send the wrong message.
In other news, on Thursday my debit card got stolen and the perpetrator charged $1000 worth of stuff. Dear perpetrator, I'm glad you used my card at SAMTRANS, among other places, so that my $218 gets you the fuck out of town. Jerk. I am not as angry as I was when I first found out, because I wasn't sure I would get the money back from my bank. But now I think I'm going to. I hope so.
Anyway, I'm here to work, so I guess I should work.
