This morning, I recorded a podcast in the
John Lennon Tour Bus. It was bizarre. First, it was supremely weird to think that I recorded in the same place that the
Pussy Cat Dolls did. Second it was really weird when the staff told me to get comfortable, and after I did, they moved the mic and mic screen so close to my face that I couldn't make eye contact with anyone in the tiny studio in the back of the bus. (They took a few pix, I'll see if I can link to them and my podcast.) Third, it was amazing to listen to Seamus, my interviewer (Apple employee who lives in the tour bus), get excited about the course I was teaching. He asked more and more questions, and interacted with me on levels I did not anticipate. As an interviewer, he was great; as a human, he inspired me.
