Been a while. Guess I haven't had much to talk about...no news is good news :D. I'm 19 now. Hurrah!?
Speaking of "been a while", it's been 14 months since one of my favourite fantasy-poppers Shimizu Ai has released something, so news of her new single Kakusei Bisque Doll, which will be released on April 25, is music to my ears. It promises to "have the familiar fantasy sound of Shimizu Ai's world", which makes me delighted. Now the question is, who out of her usual producers (Masumi Itou, Ali Project and kukui) wrote it? Even though all three of them have distinct musical styles, it's hard to tell when it comes to Shimizu Ai...
I keep meaning to upload some fantasy-pop here so I can introduce people to the genre, but since I'm rarely on my home PC anymore (which has ALL my mp3s), I can't so so at the moment. Maybe later. So here's Ai's PV for the title track Hatsuga joken M. It's a lot longer and more dramatic than her usual stuff, but wonderful nonetheless.
