Trifecta

Nov 27, 2007 23:33

I moved into a new apartment last week. It's a one bedroom apt. in a condo in Foggy Bottom. I actually have a roommate (housemate? apartment-mate?) who is a 1L law student at GW. With the whole one bedroom thing, she gets the bedroom and my room is actually the living room. Plenty of space, but alas, no door. No worries though - I ordered some Shoji screens that will give me some privacy and look very pretty. I'm really happy with the apartment: great location, super-close to the Metro, washer and dryer in the apartment, hardwood floors. Plus there is an elevator (even though I'm only on the 3rd floor, I'm a lazy bum). As for my roommate, we are getting along very well. Every day we talk a little bit more, learn a little bit more about each other, and generally feel more comfortable with each other.

So the trifecta is complete:
-I have a car
-I have a job
-I have an apartment

Now what? Well, now comes the hard part: living.
