Puzzle pieces

So I'm getting a car as a graduation present! Family friends who are going overseas for a few years are selling their car (Toyota Camry) to us. That car will go to my sister, and I will get my sister's car (a Taurus). My sister's car (the Taurus) has a pretty low re-sale value anyway, so it might as well just go to me. I'm really excited about it. It's one more piece in the "adulthood" puzzle I've laid out for myself. Other major pieces include a job and an apartment. Well, if I don't find an apartment, I can always sleep in my car.

I'm filling in for a friend tomorrow and doing the Race for the Cure. A sea of pink. Always a good cause.

Oh, and I took our dog to the vet today because one of her eyes looked cloudy. Turns out she has a cataract and is most likely blind in that eye. Our vet actually noticed it at her last visit a few weeks ago.
Vet: "Didn't I talk to you about that?"
Me: "Um no..."
Vet: "Oops. Well, I should've"

No kidding. Anyways, as long as the other eye is fine it isn't a problem. She doesn't bump into walls or anything.
