Well let's just get right to it.
So Renee and Syd are in Rome trying to steal a key card from some vault. I love listening to Renee talk, it's so relaxing and they were speaking some pretty impressive Italian in the beginning. Anyway, that was so smooth when Syd lifted the keys off of that guy, I was impressed but man, her old professor? Sure didn't see that one! It's the little stuff about this show that I like. So basically Renee kicks this guy's butt to get the package..blah blah blah...awesome fight scene...blah blah blach ;-) and then they find an access card in the smashed statue.
So back on the home front...
I totally missed the fact that Rachel was living with Sydney...is she? was that in the gambling episode, cuz I never saw that one. So anyway, heartbreaking empty nursery room...moving on...
Okay, so let me see if I've got the whole Sloane situation under wraps. Somebody correct me if I get something wrong because I'm a mite confused. Like that word? "mite"? sorta sounds Austrailian to me, but I digress. Sloane knows that Nadia is incurable so he has no motivation to help Dean anymore, but Dean doesn't know that and he wants the keycard so Sloane tells Jack and Syd about his involvement with Dean so that they can arrest him and Sloane can be freed of his obligation. But then Sloane kills Dean? I'm really confused must have something to do with that brunette girl, peyton or presley or something, and the guy who temporarily cured Nadia. By the way, good to have her back! I'm sorta amazed with how incredibly gorgeous she is. She just is. Wow.
And then in Dubai...
Love, love, LOVED sydney as the pregnant lady (not much of a stretch) made me laugh, she was having so much fun. I'm kinda surprised that nobody stopped Tom and Dixon from tazering those two guards, but I won't complain too much because Rachel got to hit Dean with a shovel. Some private lessons from Tom, perhaps? ;-D
Awww! Marshall was a druggie! His "Flinkmanized" LSD was awesome too. Twisted Sister was a nice touch. Impressive acting by Dean. It's kind of sad, I didn't really buy him as being all that evil and then when he finally starts to become real to me, he dies. Sydney comforting him was actually what did it for me, he was just so scared of everything he had created. When Dean was talking about Vaughn and then Sydney, was it a coincidence that Jack pulled her out at that exact moment, or was that because he knows something. I'm slightly suspicious.
SHOUT OUT TO SEATTLE!
Based on the connections to SVR, MI-5 and all those other organizations...I'm gonna guess that that one guy in the first or second episode was right when he was telling Sydney that she had no idea how big this thing was. I'm starting to think that I don't either and it makes me so excited!
So now Sloane's just in somebody else's pocket, poor guy, just trying to save his daughter.
Building the crib at the end was so great! I love Jack and Sydney, I could watch Victor Garber and Jennifer Garner act together all day. It was just so...Jack-like...to put the crib together and not be able to get it through the door. They were playing "Your Song" at the end of the episode. It reminded me of Cindy and Rachel.
