CHALK FESTIVAL 2007
Today was the Chalk Festival at my school with the theme "the world through my eyes".
I can't remember the whole explanation for the piece that I wrote, but it was something along the lines of:
The world through my eyes? Let's try "the world by my hand". I don't just perceive the world, I change it and make it my own. You call them imaginary friends? Ha, that's your loss.
And then I quoted a comment Oolong had left on one of my journal entries:
"Characters are just imaginary friends that are still around when you grow up."
I apologize for the blurriness of the pictures-- the piece is 4x4 feet and was protected by caution tape before I could get a hold of a camera.
