Let me count the ways in which I don't care

Someone I know who I no longer consider a friend apparently just bitched on facebook about how much she has to pay for health insurance. Why yes, she is a Republican. How did you know? Considering all the negative Obamascare stories about how the ACA made this family go bankrupt and how they have been disproven one by one, I think she's lying. This is also the same person that quoted a neo-Nazi on her facebook page and posted a picture of someone dying. Said person also lives in Pennsylvania, and this morning I just found this: http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2013/09/pennsylvania_ranks_among_lowes.html. Yeah, I think you're lying. And even if you weren't lying, you're a hell of a lot better off than you were before the ACA, where you wouldn't even be able to buy health insurance if you were pregnant and premiums would be twice as much. I know from personal experience.

All that being said, fuck yeah NHS! When I compare my experiences in America versus in the UK, I feel like the comedian Yakov Smirnoff. In the US, if you're pregnant, you can't even buy health insurance. In the UK, if you're pregnant, all your prescriptions are free. What a country!
