Looks Like a Solo Tonight (aka Kurt's Party)
Given that Kate and Kurt had a small army working under them (most of Kurt's associates combined with the large coterie of teens Kate was able to round up), one would think that everything would have been finished long before the party started. And it was. Technically. Kate just wasn't going to leave anything to chance. Tonight was too important on too many levels to not triple and quadruple check everything.
Which was why, even after the guests had arrived and the small talk and drinks had started circulating, she was still holed up in Kurt's kitchen -- headset still firmly attached and giving last minute instructions to the caterers.
Of course, it could simply be that it was easier to keep preoccupied with the small details rather than think about just what was at stake tonight. And what would happen if they by chance got it wrong and this whole thing blew up in their faces...

OOC: I lied. I'm a horrible person. Anyway..all right kids, go crazy, it's a party...basically all of Kurt's old friends and their kids have been invited. Thread hop, thread jack, do whatever it is you do with threads...and then when it's time...the most awesome plot of AWESOMENESS will get it's own, appropriately titled thread for all the parties concerned to gather under.
