Under da sea....
I think it would be awesome if someday, I got the gumption up to write an arrangement of "Under the Sea" for steel band.... Maybe I could do that the semester before I student teach, and then request that the UTM steel band play it... AFTER I LEAVE!!! HAHAHA. That would be funny. Hehe. Cause it sounds kinda like it might be kinda hard for leads.... And considering that's what I usually play.... I wouldn't wanna learn it! (Cause I am not particularly fond of steel band. Sure, it looks like we are having fun, but it's all part of the act. ;) For the majority of us, at least... it seems the freshmen haven't all caught on that steel band stinks...) So, yeah. I guess I have a long term goal of arranging "Under the Sea" for steel band. And hopefully if/when I do that, the arrangement won't be too awful!
