So it's been a while (again)...
I like this song, it's cool. Very viby, I think.
I'll just go back to Thursday...my 6k time was 2:15.1. I'm happy--kinda makes me feel like I deserve to be rowing with the varsity 8. My time wasn't terribly far off some of 'em.
Friday...coxed again, haha. Fue muy interesante. OMG, Neha would not SHUT UP. Crazy. Inna coxed too, but if you ask me, she was a bit up tight. I laid back and enjoyed the ride. ^^ Got to see all the piddy houses down on Harbor Island again too.
Yesterday was a great day. Went on a date (geez, me and Tristan hardly ever get time to do that) to the aquarium (my idea). It was a LOT of fun. I felt like a little kid again and actually found myself tugging on Tristan's sleeve, looking up with excited eyes, pointing, and saying, "Look! Look!" Suffice to say I was acting my shoe size, not my age (thank you Daddy for that). Ate at Cafe Ray (good food there, btw), browsed in the gift shop, ended up buying a bag of rocks, haha. BTW, Tristan, I re-discovered them today while cleaning out my purse. Walked around Channelside for a bit (thanks to me it took a while to find the theatre...haha). Saw Hitch (second time for me). Just as funny as the first time, but I still can't stand Eva Mendes. It's rather nice to have a boyfriend who likes chick flicks (apparently I didn't catch on with Mean Girls, haha). "I like them if they're well done."
Daddy picked us up, went back home. That's when the trouble started. Tristan was wearing the "I eat glue" shirt, which my mum found offensive. Don't ask me how, but she did. So she embarrassed the hell outta him and pissed the hell outta me with that comment. That wiped the smile off his face for a good half hour or so, and I can't say I blame him. You could cut the tension in the car (we went to Papa's for dinner) with a knife.
Doug and Yvonne were in town (yay! Yvonne's nice to me!), and Janet and Karl came over for dinner. As usual, I got insulted quite a lot. *sigh* Tell me something I don't know. After dinner, Tristan and I stayed in the living room and lounged on the couch searching for the funny stuff in Reader's Digest. Don't diss the RD---that stuff is absolutely hilarious.
Went back to my house after, sat on the porch until his parents came (there was NO way I could stay inside that house with my mum). It was a nice night.
Today...drove a lot. I'm really not that bad, honest I'm not. No crashes, no bad things happening. Honest to God. Today didn't start out so well---found out Tristan couldn't come over for dinner like he was possibly going to. *shrug*
Tomorrow's a new day, anyway.
