R.I.P. Wendy Byrne

I am utterly shocked and saddened to hear about the death of Wendy Byrne. She was shot down in the French Quarter of New Orleans on Saturday night. Two youths are currently being questioned about her murder. Wendy was the bartender - that anyone who has followed my journal for long enough will remember, as working in Aunt Tiki's where I had one of the best nights of my life. She welcomed us like we were old friends and it was one of those nights that really 'make' a holiday.
