(no subject)
I keep waking up earlier and earlier! Today I got up at 6:45, which is just insane. However, that does give me a good bit of extra time to work on all the crochet projects I've been starting lately.
I finished my amazing Cassette Tape Purse the other day, and it turned out even better than I expected!
I thought about making it an Aginst Me! purse, but I figured since I already have an AM! shirt, jacket and, you know, tattoo, that I would branch out a little a spread some Rilo Kiley love.
Here's a more detailed picture. I loooove those buttons, you can't really tell in the picture but they're clear with a little burst of glitter in the middle, I've had them forever and just been waiting to make something worthy of them. And, something I would be keeping for myself of course. :)
And, here's a shot of the inside, mainly just to show off the little pocket I put in there for my iPod (Freddie) & cell phone, etc. Freddie also fits in the outside pocket, but it's a bit of a squeeze because the purse itself isn't very thick so the outside pocket is smaller than I had originally envisioned it.
I'm currently working on another purse, this one is going to be shaped like a record (or a circle, whatevs), so I'll post pictures of that when it's done, it's most likely going to be the first item for sale in my (thus far unused) Etsy shop.
When I checked my e-mail this morning I had over fifty new messages all from my Tumblr! Apparently I've become pretty tumbl-popular lately, who knew? I wish my 8tracks got that much attention, that's where I put all my real love. Oh well.
