Well I lost my own bet. I got out of bed at the ripe old hour of 10 and went on my walk. I still havent gotten over my late night food cravings...although Im trying to be healthier. Cherries, half a banana, and snackwell chocolate chip cookies. Ok, half a box of snackwell cookies is NOT HEALTHY. Which is exactly why I tortured myself this morning, hefting it up a hill. I really must not snack late at night anymore. I wake up with horrid stomach cramps.

Ive made it my goal this summer to lose 25 pounds. That sounds like a lot for a person such as me. I know I dont look extemely overweight or anything but my ideal weight for my height (medically speaking) is 145. Do the math..Im nowhere near.

You hear about the freshman 15 your first year of college but no one tells you about the first year teacher 15. Or the parents who will deliver 25 milk chocolate bars to school for your fractions unit. Ooo, gee, we're already done with fractions. and the chocolate gets stashed in a desk drawer. How many languages can you say "moooo" in?

I always have to have something Im working on and this summer its going to be my weight. I have never bought into the whole weight loss thing before. Counting calories, eating wheaties, doing your 30 minutes of aerobics. I've always just sort of taken it all in. And then ordered my 3 item combo of chinese food.
And I dont want to be one of those health nuts either. Well, maybe I do. But my diet is usually so ungodly that just skipping the appetizers and late night chip-a-thons is bound to lose me at least 7 lbs.

I went on some websites to investigate all those fat burner supplements. Basically it all just led me in circles. Dont take it if you take brain pills. Some are good appetite suppressents. Some dont have clinical approval behind them. Some are good fat burners. Some have african leaf oil in them. Some of them may adjust your hormone levels and cause you to sprout welcome-mat sized patches of fur on all of your toes. I think I will just take one giant step away from them until all this jiggling up the road for 25 minutes in the 85 degree heat index doesnt lose me any pounds.
