When Chris Bishop first met Maria Lopez he thought she was a smart kid but too young for the dangers the anomalies posed. He told himself that if it was his little sister he would want someone to keep her safe so he vowed to himself that he would do just that. He tried to be friendly but two weeks into the new job and he was beginning to regret his decision. When she looked at him it made him feel like a fly caged in a spider's web, just waiting to be eaten. It scared the crap out of him.
