This mix is basically about the turbulent relationship between the two, and how - despite what Arthur may want to believe - Eames is perfect for him in every way imaginable. Sure, he's a con man. Sure, he enjoys pulling Arthur's imaginary pigtails, telling him to "dream bigger" and knocking his chair out from under him. Not exactly in that order, of course, but you get the idea. And, sure he has... questionable taste in fashion, which personally I find awfully endearing. But there's something else Eames has: reliability.
Eames is a man you can always count on to get the job done. He also has this gentleness about him, and seems to care about people, as evidenced by the way he was worried about Arthur taking on the projections, alone, in the second level of the dreamscape. That's not even including the fact that Arthur is the one only one he affectionately refers to as darling. Not even sweet, infinitely adorable Ariadne garnered a "love" or a "my dear". No... only Arthur.
Eames is Arthur's equal; the "Bonnie" to his "Clyde". He's his opposite, and if there's one thing opposites do, it's attract. Now, if only someone would pull the stick out of his arse, and make the first move.
