(no subject)
So Superstate . . . was way awesome! YAY!
I went out to breakfast first with all of those cool kids. We went to Omega, and of course it was crazy, but everyone was pretty tired still. Damon gave me a ride to willowbrook, and forced me to listen to the Grey's Anatomy soundtrack. Yes. I think the bus trip was way long, but it caused me extreme amounts of irritation I hated how everyone was playing like their own music, and it was all crazy. I did get to sit by my lovers Rabia and Tori though! :)
On the bus we watched this CRAZY movie called Blast. It was a bunch of percussion and brass people dancing with their instruments and stuff. Then these weird guys started dancing with large greeen beans and stuff. It was weird, but there was some pretty crazy trumpet solos. BLAST OFF! :)
We went to taco bell. I <3 taco bell. But tori and I did go to mcdonalds with taco bell cups, so we thought we were going to get kicked out. Tori went on the slide in the play-place with all the five year olds! lol
So anyway we get to superstate and we get to see our Hersey homies . . . jk. Yeah, so I'm glad we had a coach bus because everyone else did too. I think we play fairly well though. I was thinking we were going to do worse, but we pretty much rocked, and really had a chance of winning honor band (in my opinion, even though I knew we werent going to win).We went to this cruddy pizza place. Like it was seriously stupid and the food was horrible. There was an incident where I stabbed a paper plate and gave tori and anna a heartattack! lol Confusing stuff. Anyway, yeah. I didn't like it.
We had to go watch other bands, and whatever one we listened to first was really kind of bad. Then we watched Lockport (who won) and this guy behind me and Rabia was being really annoying and mean because he thought lockport was the best. Of course., Rabia and I loudly expressed our views on how WBHS was the best band! lol
It was really kind of crazy how the whole thing was practically a sporting event or something. All the bands were checking eachother out, and I was expecting a fight at any minute! lol Gilmer was the only director to get a standing ovation. Maybe because HE KNOWS EVERYONE IN THE BAND WORLD! lol
So on the way back we listened to our recording like the band nerds we are. It was really fun with everyone all excited and the percussionists dancing in the back of the bus. The ride home was somewhat boring, besides the fact that Nathan got in touch with his feminine side! lol
Overall, it was really fun, but everyone knows there is like NO CHANCE we'll make it again next year without this year's seniors. I love the seniors too!
I had to work yesturday, and it was pretty crazy as well. It was like total chaos . . . someone ordered like 14 things, and Dustin kept getting all annoying and stuff. Apparently, I'm always in the way, according to Dan! :( I know they were joking . . . i hope they were joking.
So anyone I told to go to Dairy Queen . . . just don't.lol
I think i got the worst grade out of everyone on my chemistry test. I just DON'T UNDERSTAND chemistry. It's horrible. I know I'm not going to be a scientist, so why do i even have to bother?
I'm still debating whether or not to take music theory next year. I want to . . . and I'm getting kind of sick of the work we have to do in french (even though I like the class) but I still want to drop it really bad. any suggestions from anyone?
