I'm home!!
Twelve months to the day after leaving home, I found myself looking at a familiar sight!! Home!!
My plane landed at 10.10pm on Tuesday night and my friend Karen was there to collect me at the airport,she looked fantastic & it was brilliant to see her. I got home to my parents who were thrilled - which was nice - and so far friends have been very excited, so it looks like I haven't been forgotten during my travels which is a good thing!
It is so great to have my wardrobe back - though I have thrown an awful lot of clothes away as they are too big for me *preens* and I'd forgotten all the lovely pictures I have on my wall - my favourite of Glastonbury Tor - and I have books, and cds and a tv and dvd player - it is very exciting!
But most of all I have my laptop!!
*strokes keyboard*
It's lovely to be home! This weekend I have to go see family - which means packing and I thought I was done for a while with packing - but it means I get to drive my car and listen to my stereo while I do, I think John Mayer might be called for as the soundtrack or maybe Sarah McLaughlan - we shall see! Oh, and I get to go clothes shopping with my Mum.
*fondles credit card in anticipation*.
Anyhow, that's about it for now, I am off to luxuriate in a shower where I can leave all my shampoo bottles out! Ah, the simple things!!
Oh, btw, my first words on getting through the door:
'Well, I'm back.' *g*.
