Well, I'll have to fill you in on Alicia's wedding and the stuff that's happened in the last few weeks tomorrow, since 'tis about 1:00 . . . but I *have* to write about today . . .
Erin came over to my dorm at around 7:30 or so, having run out of bagels, so she and I each grabbed one out of my fridge and ate them on the way to O Chem (grrr) . . . O Chem wasn't too bad today, but we have a quiz on Mon *shudders* . . . I had an hour break and then was off to Genetics from 10-12 . . . we started our experiment, well, we didn't really start doing it, but we came up with a procedure and materials list . . .then, since I was done with classes for the day, I searched around on eBay and found lots of loverly Italian charms, then went to lunch at around 1 or so (I wasn't really hungry after class . . . . Working on O Chem homework followed, and the fun started at around 4ish, when Erin, Dana, and I took the recycling bins over to the SU football field, after we waited for about half an hour to get into the bike room . . .
Afterwards, we went to the SAI (grr . . . I don't know how to do Greek letters on this . . . 'tis Sigma Alpha Iota, the music sorority) cookout, which was full of SAI sisters and PMA (Phi Mu Alpha--music fraternity) brothers, but anyone was welcome to come, and met up w/ Chris, Vicky, and some of their friends from high school who were visiting . . . then the three of us went to Gospel Choir--Erin's the Pres., I just joined, and we dragged Dana along. 'Twas fun--I'd missed singing soooo much . . . afterwards, we went to BJ's (the local steakhouse)for this girl's 21st birthday (Erin knows her from something, what I don't know . . .) . . . a group of about 25 people went and I only knew Erin, Dana, Lori, Trout, and Steph . . . 'twas crazy to see all these SU students walking down to main street--in a pack . . . needless to say, we took up about 3 tables placed together . . . This weekend is Fall Frenzy (the first weekend at SU), and we were planning on going to see the movie on Deg. Lawn, which happened to be Shrek 2, so the three of us split a "Chocolate Volcano" dessert (not to be confused with the VOLCANO!!!!'s at Rainforest Café ;) hehe) and then left . . . we also thought 'twas a good idea to be leaving early because . . . well . . . it was this girl's (her name's Erin too) 21st birthday and, you know, we didn't really feel comfortable there . . .
We ran back to home sweet Seibert (must post on the amazing-ness of Seibert as well) to grab blankets and sweatshirts, then headed to Deg. Lawn . . . after a fruitless search for Chris, Vicky, and Co., we set down our blanket . . . I'd almost forgotten how funny Shrek 2 is . . . no wait, I hadn't forgotten how funny it is, but I'd forgotten some of the jokes--I love how they have all the references to other movies--so hilarious!! Halfway through the movie, Dana spied Chris and went over to talk to him. He came over a few minutes later and gave us some leftover pizza from their pizza spree earlier . . .'twas a starry night, but luckily 'twas also cloudy--if it had been clear, I probably wouldn't have watched the movie! . . . I went back to my dorm and checked the auctions I'm bidding on on eBay (and that's not redundant, for once) as well as paid for the "Starry Night" charm I got, then joined everyone in the Atrium . . . Laura, our RA, said she'd never seen Finding Nemo (*gasp* yes, an audible one), so we all watched it--another movie I love :D . . . so many awesome quotes in that movie, notably "Mine!" and the whole "Squishy!" bit . . .
I can't believe we did so much today--I love my SU friends!! *huggles* Tomorrow continues Fall Frenzy with inflatables and such until 4--I bet we'll have a movie night in one of our rooms . . . I've missed those--especially the semi-random comments/quotate of other movies . . . :D
Thanks for a great day, guys!
