Woo!! I just finished my last final, which means my freshman year at Susquehanna is officially over!! I’m really excited, yet also saddened because I’m going to miss all my SU friends tremendously over the summer-we have to get together and do something before the summer holidays . . . I mean vacation . . . is over-perhaps going to Chris’ show or something . . . and we definitely need to do the British films marathon-I use enough Briticisms as it is, I might as well have a proper accent ;) . . .
This year has gone by soo fast-I can remember orientation as if it were only last week (which isn’t too well-haha) . . . I can’t believe the school year’s already finished, but I also can’t believe that I found such good friends here that are amazing, and awesome, and almost as nutters as I am-I mean, before I came here, I didn’t have friends who I could watch Braveheart and quote Monty Python with, were as into soundtracks and John Williams as I am, plan on watching a movie and instead have a late night conversations, or hum along with the soundtrack while watching Pirates of the Caribbean . . . haha-notice how lots of our memories come from watching movies? I got this idea from my friend Caitlin (G-Girl) from home, and although I know most of you have Xangas instead of LiveJournals, I’m still going to do it, because I love all of you and am really going to miss you this summer . . . [and I'm LJ-cutting this because it's wicked long]
Nadya~ I have to admit, one of the things I was worried about was getting a scary roommate . . . luckily, I ended up with a great one :) Even though we don’t have too much in common, we still got along really well, and I enjoyed our random chats we had . . . and you got me addicted to tea! Thanks for being a great roommate . . .
Kristin~ Lab partners! Chem lab was. . . interesting . . . esp. with Richie bugging us all the time . . . haha . . . Seibert next year is going to be much fun
Sylvia~ One of my Thought-ful friends! ;) Don’t forget “Green Dinosaur Days” . . . was that the name of the book we saw? Oh well . . . hehe . .
Kendra~ Since you’re living on campus next year, we’ll get to see each other more than just at lunch-I’m looking forward to getting to know you more :)
Sara~ Wow, someone almost as insane as I am! ;) If you go to Temple next year, who’ll be here to be insane with me and randomly start singing Simon & Garfunkel at midnight? You’ve gotten me to “nyerk” and “squee” and you use “’tis” words too! And for the record, you’re NOT evil . . . most of the time ;) . . . just joking, of course . . .
Benny~ “That stuff’ll kill you!” hehe . . . Richie and your room will forever be known as the “Nap Room” . . . and it’s probably going to be the main hangout next year
Richie~ You didn’t realise that once you told us about the word “yatch” that we’d use it excessively, did you? hehe . . . Naps are amazing . . . just not after it’s dark ;)
Sarah~ When I told my mom you were coming here too, she said we probably wouldn’t hang out at all-she was wrong . . . I think I’ve gotten to know you better here than in Wellsboro, probably because we’re always around each other here :)We really have to do something over the summer, though . .
Em~ Our resident theatre person :) We definitely have to do that British film/Colin Firth marathon thing this summer-maybe I’ll be able to finish reading Pride and Prejudice after I watch the film . . . hehe
Vicky~ Technically, you’re not a SU-er yet, but you’re one of us anyways-aren’t you scared? Haha . . . you’re awesome and it’s going to be really fun having you on campus all the time next year, instead of just weekends :) I’m going to try to come down to your show this summer . . . when is it again
Chris~ Now I know what to get you for Christmas, your own smiley face pillow or a nifty automatic umbrella like mine-haha . . . I think you were actually the first person I met here at SU-remember that activity thingy we had to do maybe the first day of orientation? I think you were the first person I talked to for that thing . . . and now we’re friends-isn’t it odd how things work like that? You know you’re our favourite PMA guy, and next year with Vicky on campus, you’re going to have a whole bunch of us bidding on you at the auction-don’t you feel special? ;)
Lori~ You know, it isn’t nice to put your roommate’s plushies in the refrigerator . . . haha . . . I have to come up with a plan to plushie-nap your platypus . . .mwahahaha ;) . . .
Erin~ my fellow Anglophile! You’re definitely going to have to take pictures and make a list of Briticisms when your in London this summer-can I go in your suitcase? No? *sigh* From the first day of Thought, we’ve become really good friends-late night conversations, movie nights, going to Charlie’s events . . . you rock, Erin, you really do *HUGS* (and if it weren’t for you, I’d have never gotten addicted to LJ-‘tis all your fault . . . don’t worry, I still love you) Seibert’s going to be awesome next year!!
Dana~ Future roomie-Seibert 208!! I can’t wait until next year :D I got you addicted to Josh, and now you’re getting me addicted to CSI! Well, I suppose there are worse addictions to have . . . haha . . . we’re definitely going to have doubles of a lot of albums next year (and you won’t have to play “What is This Feeling?” to vent your roommate frustrations anymore . . . hopefully . . . [just kidding ;) ])-we’ll probably become known as the John Williams room . . . haha . . . since we’ll be in the same room, we can do the bipolar AIM thing even more often-and use your screen name too! Hehehe . . . oh, and you still owe me music lessons from your “evil twin,” although the Phantom’s not evil, just misunderstood . . . ;)
Don't forget, everyone, "shindig" at Erin and Lori's (??) tonight . . . our last one of the year . . . :'(
