VACATION!
Happy Easter weekend everyone!
I took some time off work for next week and decided to say yes to the invitation to go stay with Brad's family for a little vacation. Brad and I are going to be roadtripping it as it's out of state so I'm pretty nervous. I haven't been able to travel much since the heart stuff from about 2 years ago. It feels like forever! And I haven't been on an actual vacation for longer than that even!
This will be the first time I've met Brad's parents and I'm a bit nervous, sure, but I'm excited mostly!
Brad and I are packing and doing laundry and running out to the store to grab things like batteries for cameras and treats and cds and things. We're going to be staying in like the woods/water in the middle of nowhere for days so we're going to be prepared;) I'm really looking forward to it all!
Today Brad was so excited when I told him I would be going for sure. I didn't want to commit to it at first because of the health issue and also I had to make sure my time off would be ok'd and it was but I didn't want to get his hopes up until I knew everything was set on my end. He's already figured out all these wonderful places we're going to go to and things he wants to show me. There's a gorgeous waterfall he wants to take me to and the casino there (fun as I've never been to one;) and other random things. He's so cute all excited how he is.
I love him!
We're so happy and this is just one more thing for us to be happy about and we'll finally be getting some time to ourselves for awhile in the traveling and away from distractions like bills and jobs etc.
I will update late next week to tell how it went but I will be away from computers and phones until then!
I've gotta go as I have to finish up some more laundry and get shoes and coats together. It seems like 8am is coming up so fast!
